Configure animal sizes

Choose the sizes available for each accepted species and add optional weight ranges and notes to help clients select the right option.

Choose sizes for each species

A disabled size is hidden from staff and booking forms for that species.

  1. Open Pricing > Animal sizes.
  2. Select an accepted species, then enable the sizes your business uses for that species.
  3. Repeat for the other accepted species and save the pending changes.

Add optional size guidance

For each enabled size, you can enter a minimum weight, maximum weight, and kg or lb unit. You can also add a short description, such as an example breed or body type.

Weight ranges are optional, but entered ranges must be valid and must not overlap the previous enabled size. Save a description from its editor; save range, unit, and enabled-size changes from the pending-changes bar.

What clients see

Enabled sizes become the available choices when the Animal size field is shown in online booking. Their weight ranges and descriptions are displayed there to help clients choose.

If clients should select a size, also open Settings > Online booking and make the Animal size field visible. Making the field required is a separate choice.
