Choose the animal species you accept

Set the organization-wide list

Accepted species define which animal types your business works with across AnimalAdmin. The setting affects client-facing booking forms and species choices in animal management.

1. Open Settings > Requirements.
2. Under Accepted species, select every species your business accepts.
3. Save the changes from the bar at the bottom of the page.

Keep at least one species

AnimalAdmin requires at least one accepted species. When only one remains selected, choose another species before removing it.

Refine the setup when needed

• Room settings can narrow the accepted list for an individual room. A room with no species restriction can host every organization-wide accepted species.
• Deworming requirements and vaccination definitions can apply to selected accepted species.
• Review your online booking form after changing this list so the choices shown to clients match your current offer.
