Set daycare hours and defaults

Set the suggested drop-off and pick-up times, daily capacity, and default price used when staff add daycare sessions.

Open daycare settings

Open Settings > Daycare. This page is available only when the Daycare module is enabled for the organization.

Set the default times

These values prefill the planned times for new sessions. They do not change sessions that are already saved.

Under Opening hours, select the opening time used as the suggested drop-off time for a new daycare session.
Select the closing time used as the suggested pick-up time.
Make sure the closing time is later than the opening time.

Set capacity and price defaults

Daily capacity is the maximum number of daycare sessions that can be scheduled for one day. Enter a positive whole number or leave the field empty for no daily limit.
Day price is copied to each new daycare session. Enter zero or a positive amount, or leave the field empty to set the price separately on each session.
Changing either default does not rewrite existing sessions.

Save the changes

After changing a value, use Save in the bar at the bottom of the page. The updated hours, capacity, and price will be used when staff plan future daycare sessions.
