Set boarding arrival and departure windows

Understand what the windows control

Boarding time windows describe when clients should arrive with or collect an animal. For a new stay, AnimalAdmin copies the applicable ranges into the reservation as its planned arrival and departure windows.

The windows do not choose reservation dates or prefill one exact expected arrival or departure time. Complete ranges can be included in day-before reminders sent to the client.

Set the standard windows

1. Open Settings > Boarding.
2. Under Boarding time windows, enter the From and To times for check-in and check-out.
3. Complete both ends of every range you want to use. Leave both fields empty when no standard range should apply.
4. Save the changes from the bar at the bottom of the page.

Add weekday overrides

AnimalAdmin uses the override that matches the arrival weekday for check-in and the departure weekday for check-out. If that side has no complete override, it uses the standard window.

1. Choose Add overrides under Weekday overrides.
2. Enter a complete arrival or departure range for each weekday that differs from the standard hours.
3. Choose Apply, then save the Boarding settings page.

Review client reminders

Open Settings > Notifications to preview boarding messages. A reminder shows a window only when both its start and end times are available for that reservation.
